Your seven UK GDPR rights
Click into Settings or email us — most rights are exercisable in seconds.
Right of access
Get a copy of all the personal data we hold about you, in JSON format.
Go to Settings → Data → Request export. We'll email it within 30 days.
Right to rectification
Correct inaccurate or incomplete data we hold about you.
Edit your profile and account details directly in Settings. For anything else, contact privacy@gigscenes.co.uk.
Right to erasure
Have your personal data deleted. Sometimes called the 'right to be forgotten'.
Go to Settings → Account → Delete account. Personal data is removed within 30 days. Anonymised analytics may be retained.
Right to restriction
Ask us to pause processing your data while a query is being resolved (e.g. you're disputing accuracy).
Email privacy@gigscenes.co.uk explaining what to restrict and why.
Right to data portability
Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format that you can move to another service.
Same as the access right above — Settings → Data → Request export. JSON output.
Right to object
Object to processing for marketing, profiling, or other specific purposes.
Marketing: untick the newsletter box in Settings (instant). Other processing: email privacy@gigscenes.co.uk.
Rights related to automated decision-making
We don't make decisions about you using automation alone — recommendations are suggestions, never actions.
If you believe an automated decision has been made about your account, contact privacy@gigscenes.co.uk.
